INTERNATIONAL HEALTH

A picture of the words are you covered written in sand.

Many Americans assume their health insurance policies will cover their medical needs while they are abroad. However, many policies are not valid outside the United States. Other policies will only reimburse policy holders, requiring them to pay for medical care, including the cost of hospital rooms, up front. Temporary health insurance for international travel will cover those up front medical costs.

Provides Coverage Anywhere

Traditional health insurance policies—including Medicare—are only valid in the United States. International health insurance covers you outside of the States.

Pays Your Bills
Doctors and hospitals require payment upfront. When you have international health insurance, you'll receive care regardless of the money you have in your pocket.

Covers Pre-Existing Conditions
Some plans cover chronic conditions so if you have heart disease, asthma or diabetes, you can still get care abroad.

Emergency Air Evacuation
If you cannot be properly treated where you are, you’ll need to be flown to a better facility. Prepayment is required, and international health insurance takes care of that.

Return of Remains
Nobody plans to die on vacation, but it happens. An international health insurance plan offers your loved ones the assurance your remains will be flown back home.
